Having had numerous upgrades as detailed below by the owner : The boat size was selected as it suited the Great Ouse system, as it has 8’ 6” beam and the locks support 10’ 6” and the air-draft [under normal conditions] allows the boat to transit all but one lock without lowering the covers.
